Online Guide - Anti-spam Options

Geromail Corporate Webmail offers anti-spam filters (G-Spam) that are builtin on the email server.

You can configure how the server should handle emails that are detected as spams and how detected spam mails are handled.

To change your anti-spam option, here's the guideline:

  1. Login to webmail

  2. Click on options button (near the middle top of screen)
    options

  3. Click on AntiSpam tab near the top of the window.
    Anti-spam options

  4. Available actions for the anti-spam filter are:
    1. Disabled
    2. Add [G-Spam] prefix to subject line (default)
    3. Move Spam mails to Junk Mail folder on server
    4. Delete Spams without warning
    5. Request sender verification for suspected spam mails

  5. Click to enable the Classify as spam mails for sender not in the address box option if you wish to classify all senders not in the webmail contact list as spams.

  6. You can also add in your approved list of sender emails so that their emails will always bypass the anti-spam filter.

  7. Click on the Update button to update the change.

  8. Click on the Close button to close the current window.

  9. End of guide.
