Define Filter Rules

Geromail Corporate Webmail offers rules to manage your incoming mails based on certain criteria. For example, you can configure rules to all your subscribed ezine or enews to the NEWS folder, redirect all emails for enquiry@geromail.com to SMS alert server, etc.

To configure the filter rules, here's the guideline:

  1. Login to webmail

  2. Click on options button (near the middle top of screen)
    options

  3. Click on Filter tab near the top of the window.
    Filter options

  4. To add a new filter rule, click on the Add button. To edit an existing rule, click on the Edit button on the corresponding rule.

  5. Fill in the necessary information to control how incoming messages are managed at the server.

  6. Note: For the Move to folder and Copy to folder drop-down box to work, you need to create the folder prior to configuring the filter.

  7. You can click on the Run button to apply the filter rule on the inbox now (you do not need to enable the filter rule to do this).

  8. Click on the Update button to update the change.

  9. Click on the Close button to close the current window.

  10. End of guide.
