Step-by-Step Guide
To setup a IMAP mail access for Mozilla Thunderbird, here's a step-by-step guide:
Launch Mozilla Thunderbird
Click Tools, select Account Settings... 
Click Add Account...
Type of account is Email Account. Click Next > 
Fill in your name and email address. Click Next > 
Select IMAP as the type of incoming server.
Key in the incoming server eg. mail.geromail.com, mail.yourdomain.com, etc.
Click Next > 
Key in a name for this account to be created. Click Next > 
Click Finish 
Click OK
Right-click on the newly created account and select Subscribe 
Select the folder(s) you wish to subscribe and click OK 
All subscribed folders will be displayed.
